Teaching, being a good communicator and listener, and naturally assuming roles of leadership has been Lynn's life-long pattern. She has a university degree in education. When she discovered yoga (or it discovered her), 16 years ago, it was like her many years of teaching and life experience had prepared her to step into the "big groove" of teaching yoga. She took a courageous path, travelled and studied hatha yoga and meditation in depth, fueling what would become her love affair with Anusara Yoga.
John Friend said he was drawn to Lynn because of her solid studentship and steady devotion. Her extensive training and practise offer a rich vein of experience from which she shares with clarity, depth, simplicity and a passion that sparks her to inspire her students in ever fresh and new ways.
Robin Golt was Canada's first certified Anusara Yoga teacher and has played a key role in the growth of Anusara in Canada over the past 13 years. Robin is known for the power, depth, clarity and light-heartedness of her teaching, as well as her unique ability to communicate the profound philosophical teachings that underlie the Anusara method in an accessible and uplifting way.
Robin offers classes, workshops, Immersions and Teacher Trainings across the country. She actively supports new teachers in many capacities, and serves on the Anusara yoga Certification Committee, mentoring emerging teachers on their path to certification. For the past 4 years Robin has been deepening her own practice and understanding through advanced studies of Tantric Shaivism under the guidance of Paul Muller-Ortega, world-renowned scholar and wisdom teacher, and founder of Blue Throat Yoga (www.bluethroatyoga.com).
